LET’S GO! FEBRUARY MARKS THE SECOND LONGBOARD RACE OF THE 2027 SEASON!
LONG LIVE LONGBOARDS: THE SECOND LONGBOARD RACE OF 2027 HAPPENS FEBRUARY 21!
Grab your crew and head to the mountains for this legendary, one-day-only throwback ski showdown!
📅 WHEN: Sunday, February 21, 2027
📍 WHERE: Plumas Ski Bowl at Plumas Eureka State Park, near Johnsville and Graeagle, CA
🎟 TICKETS: FREE! But get there early—parking is tight!
These aren’t your typical ski races. Forget the high-speed lifts and groomed runs of Tahoe. At Plumas Eureka Ski Bowl, it’s all about the pioneer spirit. Racers will be decked out in 1860s-style attire, strapping into towering 9-16 foot handmade wooden skis, and hoofing it up the hill on foot before launching themselves down the mountain with nothing but gravity and pure guts. When the gong sounds, it’s every skier for themselves, and only the fastest (and luckiest) will take home medals, bragging rights, and eternal mountain glory.
THE FUN STARTS EARLY!
